|Platform||Linux Intel 64 bit||OS||Fedora||OS Version||24 & 25|
|Target Version||Fixed in Version|
|Summary||0001029: Impossible to set the DOM UI language to anything other than English|
|Description||It seems impossible to switch the DOM UI language to something different than English.|
I see it now on Fedora 24 and 25 with both DOM 2.10.2 and 2.10.3 (in VM setup).
But I remember noticing it sometime ago too on one machine (but not on another similar machine ..).
So maybe the problem maybe is not entirely new, and maybe it was introduced somewhere before 2.10.1
I tried removing ~/.config/dcpomatic2 iot use a fresh config, but this doesn't seem to help.
|Steps To Reproduce||* Enable "Set language" and select a language different from English in the|
"Edit->Preferences" screen (for example "Nederlands" for Dutch).
* Restart DOM
* ==> UI language is still English, "Edit->Preferences" still shows the non-English selection.

||Do you have the language pack for the target language installed on your machine? On Linux you won't get any translations unless you've done that.|
Yes, that's it!: installing the Fedora meta-package "langpacks-nl" made the Dutch translations work again.
(I didn't know about these packages: they don't exist in Fedora 22, which is where I came from!)
