| Description | As discussed with Dennis Couzin. dcp_color_fork shows the progression that should happen from Y/Cb/Cr to XYZ. It's first wrong after the BT. 709 decode matrix, whose coefficients are rounded by FFmpeg to 16-bit precision and may not be quite right anyway. This is all currently with the couzin branch. On master the BT. 601 is being used, not BT. 709, for the YUV->RGB conversion. We need to decide whether it's appropriate to use that matrix for all image content. The other spreadsheet shows the output errors. | ||||
