Re: Extract a SRT from a VF

You should also be able to create a new DCP from a VF (if the VF is unencrypted). If you set DCP parameters right, you could e.g. convert a multi-reel SMPTE VF to a single reel Interop DCP, and then just use the resulting xml subtitle file. IF the OV/VF DCP is already in Interop format, it could be...

Re: Regarding the acquisition of digital certificate files

All servers have options to download certificates from the server itself. But, again, most projectionists do not know how to do that. There are a few discussions on this forum about cert access. DCP-o-matic has a few download configurations for most manufacturers, but you may need to apply for logi...

After creating encrypted DCPs, many projectionists often don't know how to obtain the certificate files. We have come across a website for downloading certificates related to DOLBY, but we are unsure if other brands of digital cinema servers have similar certificate download addresses. If you happen...

Re: Coding is very slow

When I bought my 'second' second-hand HP Z600 dual xeon system, I installed the OS from scratch and looked up HPs website for current drivers. I was surprised to find a very recent BIOS update. So, I installed it. Very quickly I learned that this update was targeted at the spectre vulnerability of ...

There is an encrypted DCP we need to make a VF subtitle package according to this DCP, we have provided a encryption certificate to the film maker, but the other party said we need to provide a certificat chain, how should I do it?

Re: Coding is very slow

Thanks for the logs. I can't see anything obviously wrong there. It would be interesting if you could send another log after ticking the "Timing" checkbox under "Log" in the advanced preferences. This will fill the log with some more information related to the frame queues. It's...
