Re: Two reels, one with subtitles and one without
Dear Seppia, you can just ignore it - I've never encountered a single issue with any DCP not having subtitles for all reels - and I've seen many of them with logos added at head etc. Thanks, as you guessed that's exactly the case : the classic 6 seconds animated logo to be inserted at the beginning...

Two reels, one with subtitles and one without
Hello I just build a DCP with DCP-O-Matic containing two reels, that is actually a merge of two DCPs in one. The first DCP does not have caption, the second has closed caption (from a SRT imported in DCP-o-Matic). Building goes fine, but when checking the DCP in (an older version of) EasyDCP Creator...

Re: Stereo audio track + Visually-Impared narrative stereo audio track
Thanks a lot, Carsten, for your detailed explanation ! I ended up doing exactly what you wrote, and it seems to work :-) But I had to ask the producer for the narrative-voice-only mono track. At first I only had : - the main stereo normal public full mix - a stereo track with narrative voice already...

Re: Stereo audio track + Visually-Impared narrative stereo audio track
Set the DCP audio channels to 8 (DCP/Audio tab) then add your ProRes and WAV files. Then select the ProRes file and map its channels to L and R. Select the VI file and map its channels to VI. Details on the audio map are in the manual . Hello Carl, thanks for the reply I was considering doing a 4-c...

Stereo audio track + Visually-Impared narrative stereo audio track

As sources, I have one Quicktime ProRes file containing the video track and the main audio stereo track, andI have one WAV file containing on...

Re-use DCP to add soft subtitles - passthrough video ?
Hello Using DCP-o-matic 2.12.20 on macOS, I want to add a subtitle file to an existing DCP. I don't want to make a VF DCP, but a new OV DCP by re-using the existing audio and video MXF from the current DCP. I'm in the second case " Making a complete DCP with projector-added subtitles " of ...
