Re: Sony 4K Projector Not Seeing DCPs

I'm taking the DCP to Deluxe today. They are going to debug/test the CPL to see if there is anything in the package that could result in it not showing up on a Sony projector. I did not format this particular drive. But I do know that it was done using Ubuntu and GPARTED, inode size 128. The drive i...

Re: Sony 4K Projector Not Seeing DCPs

Both DCPs are in separate folders at the root level. There are no special characters in the filenames of the folder except for dashes and underscores. The Sony has a large 15" screen on it, but it looked like it was part of the projector as memory serves. I'm working on figuring out the models....

Sony 4K Projector Not Seeing DCPs

This isn't necessarily a DOM issue, but since there are so many knowledgeable people in here, I thought I would mention it. Last week we plugged our DCP CRU drive into two projectors, a Barco 4K and a Sony 4K (don't ask me the model, I don't have it atm). The Barco read the DCP on the drive fine. Th...

Re: FEATURE REQUEST: Supplemental Packages

Wouldn't it force you to re-encode if it's encrypted?

FEATURE REQUEST: Supplemental Packages

I would love to see a feature added that allows you to add supplemental packages to existing DCPs so that you can replace bad frames or shots or add trailers or logos to the front of your movie.

Re: DCP Not Showing Up On Drive

Why are there 5 reels? Did you set DCP-o-matic to create theese 5 reels, or did you import the source footage as reels already? Part of the delivery spec was to deliver the movie in reels. So the source files were split up by reel. Is the original project folder in which you created the DCP still p...

Re: DCP Not Showing Up On Drive

Any way to re-make the DCP to re-create the CPL, PKL, and subtitles without having to re-render the video?

Re: DCP Not Showing Up On Drive

Re: the filename, the first DCP that was made through a vendor using Clipster I think, shows the full name of the movie and it has an ISDCF filename. So that's why I found it odd that it didn't work the same way with DOM. I made (2) versions of this DCP with DOM. 4K and 2K. Something must have gotte...

Re: DCP Not Showing Up On Drive

Well, this is troubling. There are no CPL files within the 2nd (DCPoMatic) DCP folder. That's a problem right? Why would that happen? Some error in the render? This is the name of the main DCP folder at the root level: TheCleansingHo_FTR-1_S_EN-EN-CCAP_51_4K_20190803_IOP_OV One question I have is wh...

Re: DCP Not Showing Up On Drive

I deleted the 2nd DCP and copied it to the drive via the terminal using “sudo cp” command. I recursively reset permissions for both DCPs to read, executable. Still, only the 1st DCP shows up on a Barco projectile. Neither DCP shows up on the Sony 4K projectors. I suppose next steps are to wipe and r...
