Re: What is right way to make multilingual DCP

OK, thanks, I'll take a look; I added a bug for this to the tracker.

Re: Outputting MOV/MP4

Hi,

Thanks for those metadata files. I can't see any real problems there. When you say the files are "not playable", what exactly do you mean? Is there some error when you try to play them?

Are any of these non-playable files small enough to upload somewhere so that we can take a look?

Re: What is right way to make multilingual DCP

So you mean when you change the size of the window and then maximise it, the timing tab changes size?

Re: What is right way to make multilingual DCP

Would you have enough screen space to look at all those tabs at the same time?

Re: Trying to sync up multi reel subtitle files

You may need to click "Use subtitles" or "Use as" in the "Text" or "Subtitle" tab to enable the subtitles for the DCP that you imported. There should be no need to manually import anything! :)

Re: Thank You

Best a question for Carl to answer, but I'd really like to see GPU encoding come to dcpomatic. The cost of building a machine to do serious encoding would come way down if GPU power was able to do the heavy lifting. Could be wrong but I think Wraptor does this already. All being well there will be ...

Re: Trying to sync up multi reel subtitle files

Have you tried just adding the DCP to a DCP-o-matic project (with the "Add DCP" button) then exporting?

Re: butler.cc:130

There are unfortunately a few bugs that cause messages like this, and an update is the best first step. But also you could tell us about what file you are converting. If you find "metadata.xml" and "ffprobe.log" files inside your DCP-o-matic project folder, please send them to me at carl@dcpomatic.com
