Re: EasyDCP verification
The Verifying XML schema of CPL hang seems to have been fixed Easy DCP Player 4.1.7 My test DCP created in DCP-o-Matic 2.16.65 failed the full verification in Easy DCP. But only with the two things, DC-o-Matic warned me about in the hints! Invalid audio properties. 6 channels (Expected 16). 24 bits ...

Re: EasyDCP verification
I raised this as a bug with EasyDCP not realising at first it was specific to DCPs created in recent versions of DCP-o-Matic. For me this was EasyDCP Player 4.1.6 (and the M1 Beta 4.1.96). Dropping back to 4.1.4 avoided the problem. When opening Easy DCP Player with certain DCPs it gets stuck for 10...

Content Modifiers: Clip, Episode...
Hello, Has anyone ever seen the additional content types available in DCP-o-Matic used in any cinema products? It would be a helpful feature however across the hardware/software I use (Doremi, IMS3000, Screenwriter) when used the content type ends up being shown as Unkown or Undefined. I see they ar...

Re: NTSC DVDs out of sync
I'm seeing this on both 2.16.42 on a PC and 2.16.32 on a PC. Yes would usually just let DCP-o-Matic handle a 29.97>30fps for anything from NTSC. These are both originally shot of film and have this line in mediainfo which made me curious: Frame rate : 23.976 (23976/1000) FPS Original frame rate : 29...

NTSC DVDs out of sync
I've noticed a couple of NTSC DVDs rips we've used recently to make clips from have been out of sync in DCP-o-Matic and resulting DCPs. These are ripped using MakeMKV and playback in sync on other players. Setting Override detected video framerate to 23.976 (from 29.97) in advance settings will put ...

Re: Batch DCP Slide Creation
These were all for a film festival. Multiple slides / slates in front of each one so end up with over 100. Most unique to a certain film others generic and reused. I think 2 seconds is about right when you have a holding slide before a film that will either fade up or down along with the cinema ligh...

Batch DCP Slide Creation
Hello, Tasked with the tedious job of creating many DCP slides in multiple ratios I've been experimenting with the dcpomatic2_create command line tool on a Mac with Automator which is a bit or a more interesting challenge for me. I have a bit of knowledge of using FFMPEG from the command line and fr...

Re: Allow special Characters in ISDCF name?
Thanks Carl, Fair enough. Same for all special characters or could > for example work instead? I'm putting in both Flat and Scope slides so it's very useful having the ratio autogenerated. Having said that for the files I currently have all end with the ratio name so for the job I'm currently doing ...

Allow special Characters in ISDCF name?
Hello, Would it be a problem to allow special characters such as a hyphen (-) to the automatically generated DCP name? I have 50+ slides to create for an event and am using the command line tool to batch create these. The hyphen I'm using to separate the asset number and name (eg. 001-Opening) is aw...

Command Line Tools location on a Mac
I've got DOM 2.14.47 installed on a Mac but I'm not able to run any of the command line tools. I'm just getting the below in Treminal:
-bash: dcpomatic2_create: command not found
Is there anything additonal needed to set these up? What's the full path for these?
thanks,
Chris
