Re: making a VF for a DCP not authored in DOM
Current versions of DCP-o-matic offer to set current DCP properties from a loaded one. That makes it easy to create a VF with the same properties as the OV. Load OV DCP and right-click on it!

Re: Second box for helping with encoding
FAST remote encoder boxes saturate a gigabit ethernet connection quickly. If you use a decent number of slower boxes, this is not an issue.

Re: DCP ingest error - file size is incorrect
Somebody didn't pay attention downloading the file. There are two ways to download files from a dropbox account that is not your own - as a browser download (download/save as), or, copy file to your own dropbox (if they have an account that has enough capacity). Then their Dropbox client will downlo...

Re: Multi CPL dcp
Before. Encryption is strictly on CPL basis. You need to issue KDMs for every encrypted CPL in the package. Combiner is encryption agnostic.

Re: Max film length for USB stick
NTFS is fine, and that way it can be any realistic size. Just that for anything larger than a short film, copy time grows painfully long.

Re: Seting language for subtitle - seems to play but Tack Unknown()
You need to decide first wether you want to create a subtitled version (open captions) or closed captions. Closed captions are to be shown on personal devices like glasses, smartphones, or seat displays. The DCP-VF will probably play on most servers, but you should still specify the proper language ...

Re: Single audio channel
You need to create a 4channel DCP, some would suggest, a 5.1 DCP, with only channel 3 for center having signal.
Sounds a bit unnecessary, but it's the proper way to do it.
