Just curious...
Are you just using Italics formatting using the codes: <i> </i> and nothing else?
I really don't see how that would change the relative size. An SRT is a passive text file and as mentioned above it's the system that renders the SRT subtitles onscreen.

Re: VTT and SRT files
Nick, Another solution would be converting the VTT file to SRT given that DoM has excellent SRT support. There are a number of converters out there and I think I might have seen a website for online conversions…. I am on a mac and I use one from the app store to convert SRTs to CSV to create dialogu...

Re: I HAVE NO IDEA
I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're saying... I'm not adding anything to anything...
I'm just opening a DCP for playback and the folder with the name when the DCP was created is the folder that opens the DCP for playback when I select it. That's all.

Re: I HAVE NO IDEA
Carl, Thank you for your thorough explanation... I think that part of the the confusion may lie with the prompt that follows after incorrectly selecting the main DCP project folder for playback. "Could not load a DCP from <directory> DCP o Matic <File name> This looks like a DCP-o-matic project...

Re: I HAVE NO IDEA
Why should the user have to figure out a programers lógic? … It should be the other way around. .another words, the user should only need to do what is intuitive from a users point of view. In this case that would be:highlight the folder and the program itself should internally connect to the right ...

ASS Subtitles - Testing DoM Test 2.16.21
I tested ASS subtitles using Test version 2.16.21. and I've included screenshots from the test. Also I've included screenshots of DoM subtitles using an SRT file for comparison (V2.16.18) I also created a file with burned subtitles using handbrake with ASS subtitles. - DoM: ASS subtitles are not dis...

Re: Projector added subtitles PAS
Thank you Carsten... I understand about "version files" VF DCPs needing especial action on the part of the protectionist but wasn't clear if the projectionist needed to take any additional action with a "Projection added subtitles" DCP. I've been told that many protectionists don...

Projector added subtitles PAS
Just a general question without getting into any technical issues ...
Does a projectionist have to do anything different for a DCP with "projector added subtitles" than he would with a DCP with burnt subtitles?
