Re: Mxf subtitles in srt
So if you open sub.MXF in SubtitleEdit app and do what you need to do and save it as DCinema 2010 XML subtitle and in the end rename it back to sub.MXF will that work ?? I mean ... I know that it will fail hash check for example but that can be hacked  What I want to ask is ... sub.MXF file...

Re: DKDM
one kinda off topic question
if I send DKDM to somebody so he/she is able to make KDMs, and if DKDM is restricted to work between specific dates, is that person able to issue KDM that is supposed to work after period defined by dates in DKDM?

Syncing certificates
How to sync certificates between several machines that are using DOM? If for example you make encrypted DCP on one machine and want to be able to make KDMs on two other machines for that DCP but you don't have project files (metadata.xml and project folder) ... only DKDM file for DOM. How to do that...

Re: New Project old metadata.xml
I have 3rd party that needs "dcp digest file" delivered alongside with encrypted DCP that has been created using DOM. They don't want DKDM for whatever reason. As I can see looking in metadata.xml there are columns like: <Digest>118eXXXXeb7b141f14d50bf3724ab000000114564620</Digest> <Key>eX...

Re: Creating my first DKDM for Distribution
So if you send file generated by "Make DKDM" command then distributor can make new KDMs forever in whichever software they use? And if you send KDM generated using distributors certificate than they can make new KDMs in time period defined by "Make KDM" command also in whichever ...

Re: VF subtitles on KDM OV
and what if it's needed to send it to distribution?
KDM added to DCP will become inactive after time set in KDM for OV?
Does VF KDM becomes "new OV KDM" if time in VF KDM is set different or longer than in added OV KDM to DCP?

keeping J2K files
hello ... in some earlier version when you make dcp there was folder with j2k files (converted in xyz) and now I am missing that as something that I was using for QC. Is there an option to keep J2K files after wrapping them in MXF container? I would like to keep them, to have them ... I miss them :l...

Re: bypass j2c conversion?
I noticed that there is also an import dcp: when you import DCP, data will be re-encoded or not? Not re-encoded unless you do something like cropping it. Hi, I was also rewrapping DCP from existing j2c sequence, and I wanted to add new sound and new subtitles. I made sure that container is the same ...
