SMPTE 5.1 DCP shown as wild
Hi! I have a question. When checking SMPTE DCP made with latest version of DOM in EasyDCP, it shows warning. I am unable to see details because I am using trial. I believe this is not important, because I've read somewhere it si because of naming convention. The problem I see is this - 5.1 DCP is sh...

Re: KDM error
I fixed it, if anybody wants to know :) There were some missing parts in KDM. Firs, this particular tag that was missing i copied from some old working KDM... Then it said something about other missing stuff. I just searched for that stuff in working KDM and added manually to this one by copying and...

Subtitles for 3D DCP
Dear all,
How to make subtitles for 3D DCP? Can this be done in DOM? I would like to create burned in subtitles. They can be primitive. For me it is important that they look ok when seeing film in 3D...

Re: Corrupting settings + outline error in batch converter
Hm, now I opened it, and it didn't corrupt settings. Also, all settings in batch converter are same as in DOM now when I look at it. It happened 2 or 3 times in last month or something. I will try to cause this again, and get back to you. Also, I don't know if this is related, but DOM can't open bat...

Corrupting settings + outline error in batch converter
Hey everyone, I have strange problem. Sometimes DOM just resets all settings after running batch converter. Like batch converter corrupts settings from main DOM app... I am using latest version (2.12.6). I usually get this error that I attached. And after recreating certificate chain, what happens i...

Re: Malfunctions on DOM 2.12.4
New version of Resolve (still in beta, v15) will support Kakadu-based JPEG2000 encoding. It should be faster and DCI compliant. Resolve will be able to export DCP directly this way (without any additional plugins), but I guess JPEG2000 files will also be an option.

Re: Feature Film - Croping and sound sync
I would not add gain, because your true peak is -0.4 dbFS so adding more than 0.4db would clip the signal. If you feel that sound is too quiet at cinema - just add a note when sending DCP, something like “play at X dolby level”. This level is something you have to figure out when testing DCP in cine...

Re: Audio Tracks not getting mapped in DOM - MFX Exported in Premiere
Your mapping in Premiere was probably wrong. Take a look at this guide:
http://blogs.adobe.com/VideoRoad/2015/0 ... e-pro.html
You need to have multichannel sequence, and tracks routed and panned to right outputs. Then you can use 6ch output preset.
