Is NTFS delivery 100% acceptable these days?
I've so far always delivered dcp's on ext3-formatted drives, with no rejections. Ext3 could prevent some win/mac-users from messing up the drive, but is this the only benefit you get? To save some time delivering dcp's, I'm considering switching over to NTFS. Are there any servers out there that won...

Re: "Cannot reference this DCP: it does not have open subtitles in all its reels"
Yes, it seems very reasonable - for several reasons - that all reels should carry the same asset types.
The DCP was made with Clipster and seems to be ok in all other respects, so I guess this message is just a warning and all is well.
Thank you Carsten!

Re: "Cannot reference this DCP: it does not have open subtitles in all its reels"
Yes, it seems somewhat obvious that a VF shouldn't reference a VF. But what does this warning (or error?) really mean? I'm loading the VF in DCP-O-Matic and 'add' the OV as required, but are the reel 1 subtitles missing and the cause of some problem, or is everything alright, for example if I export...

"Cannot reference this DCP: it does not have open subtitles in all its reels"
Hi! I've received a 6-reel 4k OV DCP, with a subtitled VF in a separate folder. The VF is also 6 reels, but the subtitles in it are only reels 2-6, and I get this error message: "Cannot reference this DCP: it does not have open subtitles in all its reels" Does this mean that I cannot make ...

Re: Error: KDM was not made for dcp-o-matic's decryption certificate
Hi again!
After having contacted the distributor with my concerns, they have now sent me a new, working KDM file.
Thank you Carl for helping me out!

Error: KDM was not made for dcp-o-matic's decryption certificate
Hi, Can someone tell me exactly what this means? I'm guessing that the KDM doesn't match my leaf certificate, but I may be wrong. I've received an IOP DCP with an SMPTE KDM supposedly made to match my certificate, but I can't decrypt it. I have tried two different earlier versions, but can't make it...

Win 10 GUI scaling affects subtitle rendering size
Opening a project on a different Win10 machine with different GUI scaling setting changes the subtitle sizing.
Is this how it's supposed to work, and if so I wonder if the quality doesn't suffer from this feature?
Anyway, it would be better if GUI scaling didn't affect subtitle rendering at all.

Re: Miscoloured subtitles again
Any updates on this topic?
Subs look terrible using 2.12.10, and disabling ClearType gets rid of the colouring but results in jagged edges instead.

Resolve v15 beta 3 seems to have fixed this issue.
DoM DCP's can now be opened/imported and seems to work pretty well.
