Re: Where are the system fonts? gone?
No, I added a DCP (OV). It has several VFs, but I have not added those. I added a xml file created with Subtitle Edit, set the font (just one) and created a VF (using the OV as OV). And no matter what font I put, Liberation Sans is always used (and renamed). This is he head of the xml subtitle file:...

Re: Marker support missing.. What happened.
Thanks for the detailed explanation! Indeed, FFOC and LFOC are technically easy to set. Those other need human touch.

Re: Custom subtitle posistion?
Aegisub can move subtiles around. But it does not know about DCP subtitles. Subtitle Edit knows about them, but ignores the positional infromation in ASS files. Quite sad!

Re: Where are the system fonts? gone?
I am sure Liberation sans is what was put into the DCP. It gets rename, but when I open the TTF file on the DCP, I get Liberation Sans, the custom font is 300 kB, the one that gets included is cca 70 kB. This happened to me when I tried to put there either Arial or another custom font, Franklin. I a...

Re: Marker support missing.. What happened.
My attention to this was brought by the new Alpha version (?) nagging me to include some markers when I was creating a SMTPE VF for the first time. Good that they are not necessary in the end (I still put them). But I still have no idea what "composition" in "first frame of compositio...

Re: Where are the system fonts? gone?
I have a different problem with the latest Alpha of DOM. I click Edit... in the dialog showed in the reply above and add my custom font, yet when I click "Make DCP" (it is a VF), Liberation Sans is used instead. Can anyone confirm? EDIT: Would anything happen if I just replaced the file &q...

Re: Marker support missing.. What happened.
What composition refers to here? The actual content?
(I also wonder how this would work with those MArvel movies that have a sequence in the middle of the end credits and after that")

Add some new keyboard shortcuts for moving around on the timeline
"Add some new keyboard shortcuts for moving around on the timeline" is listed as a new feature of the upcoming versions. I cannot find what these shortcuts are (and can they be changed)? Are they specific to Video Player or the Creator?

Re: Speed of exporting to MP4
So I filed a but to rename the ProRes export option here: https://dcpomatic.com/mantis/view.php?id=2067 CRf is Constatnt Rate Factor and I am pretty sure that is what the setting in DOM is. The range (0-51) is the same. More info here: https://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/Encode/H.264 That also explains the...

Re: Speed of exporting to MP4
I am using the latest stable version. I as an ordinary user (who tends to be quite systematic though) am not sure what to expect of "Prores": "MOV/ProRes" would be a lot clearer to me. I do not understand your remark about "quicktime containers" - I thought MOV is a qui...
