Hi!
I have upgraded to Debian 11 and installed the latest stable version of DOM. Now it's impossible to see all the settings while on Debian 10 with the previous stable version of DOM it was okay. It would be very convenient to have scrolling just like on the Content tab for audio/video settings.

Re: DoM crashing when trying to create DCP from unencrypted VF+OV
Hi! I had the same problem on Debian 10 too. The solution was quite simple - I just reinstalled DOM. :D I always do an update of DOM and I think this crash is somehow related to it because when I deleted DOM and did a clean install - the problem was gone. Maybe this was because there were some conse...

*SOLVED* Unable to encode with encode server
Hi everyone! Using the latest stable version on both host machine (Debian 10) and encode server machine (Win 8.1) I'm unable to use the encode server. I keep getting the same messages in server status window: 'Error: error during async_read (2)' and 'Error: error during async_read (1236)'. I have tr...

Re: Private film premiere in an IMAX
I can't test encryption though, IMAX won't give us our certs. Luckily IMAX had sent us their cert when we needed it to order KDM for a non-IMAX feature film. But this was our management and film's distributor who have asked for the cert. But I can say without a doubt that at least on our Dual Laser...

Re: Private film premiere in an IMAX
Hi! I'd like to add some hopefully useful info to this topic. I think it's best to create full container DCP with an image filling it completely. IMAX has no problem projecting these DCPs. I had problems projecting encrypted 4K DCP, no matter what I did. But no problems with encrypted 2K or unencryp...

Re: [SOLVED] Debian Buster package / build instruction
Alright, I have installed the latest DOM on Debian Buster successfully. The only problem I have noticed is that the installer needs to be run with root privileges. If not, the installer just closes when install button is clicked, it doesn't ask for root privileges. The 2.14.8 build for Debian Stretc...

Re: [SOLVED] Debian Buster package / build instruction
Hi! I'd like to upgrade to Debian Buster and I'm thinking about an exact steps how to upgrade and not to lose all DOM settings especially encryption ones. I see the process like: 1) upgrade to Debian Buster, 2) install the latest build of DOM for Debian Buster. Will upgrading to Buster delete DOM an...

Re: 4K DCP problems
Re-encoding "bad" DCP doesn't work. DOM passes frames encoded in older versions unaltered. I have made a mixed DCP: the first part was an original video file and the second part was a j2c-file encoded in 2.10.9. So an original file was encoded and a j2c-file was not re-encoded thus resulti...

Re: 6 mono tracks for 5.1
Hi! Select your video file in the content list and on the Audio tab deselect all audio channels. Then check the timeline - there should be only 6 mono tracks left. Next thing - check the channel mapping. DOM should automatically assign DCP channels to every mono file based on the channel designation...
