You won't be able to do this. At least not with DCI compliant screening server.
Secondary subtitle can be added as closed caption to the DCP itself but the only way to project that sub is with devices like Dolby Captiview or similar. Not with secondary projector.

Re: Exporting to ProRes (packaging?) and frame-rate accuracy.
This start to be real problem when the prores need to be converted to 25fps video for other use. I use protools to speed the audio up from 24->25fps (to avoid pitch changes) and when the audio is not true 24fps then pro tools are unable to do the conversion correctly since it expect the audio to be ...

Re: Flat 1:78 Bars at the top?
I guess that the original clip that you have used to be true flat 1.85:1 (2k) and that was taken and fit horizontally into HD 1920x1080 that added black bars at top and bottom. Then you are taking that clip and it is fitting vertically in DoM and because the source is 1920x1080 DoM then creates the ...

Re: when DCP-o-matic will work finally?
Ok radomarkov… What is wrong with you? Have you ever thought about that Carl, the creator of DOM has built a great software absolutely free? Yes, you obviously have since your meaning is that DCP o matic is amateur program because it is free. Will 9000$ price tag make it professional? I do run digit...

Re: DCP too big for cinema screen
The problem there is probably that the screen itself is not in correct scope format so the projector is set to fit vertically on top and bottom but the left and right sides are cropped off. It is actually pretty common that some part of the images are cropped off a little bit to fill out the scope s...

Re: make a VF with same audio only
VF's are made to generate another versions of the same content and are made to save space. It makes no sense at all to bother making a version files when the video content is different. You are not saving that much of space by reusing only the audio. Then id say you should just leave it at two seper...

Re: Label printer for CRU Drives
Good idea!
I don´t know i just didn't thought about buying A4 pages that have label sticker on then and print to it with regular printer.
Just went out and bought it.
It was way to much overthinking with some special label printer.
Thank you

Label printer for CRU Drives
This is not directly related to DCP-O-Matic but still DCP related so hopefully it can stay here. I am preparing a DCP feature film to CRU drives and i was thinking about buying some label printer to be able to print out some stickers and put on the drive with info about the dcp and stuff like that. ...

Subtitles and reels
Just wondering... Have anyone here been able to sucessfully insert subtitle reels into existing dcp? No matter how i try to line the subtitle reels in on the timeline i never manage to let it sync to the dcp. The way i do it i just render the dcp to mp4. Inport this mp4 into my EZTitle subtitle soft...

Number of threads DoM can use
I was wondering about this settings.
I know it says threads but is better to select the number of cores the CPU have rather than thread?
For example, my CPU have 12 cores but 24 threads.
So should i set this settings in DoM as the number of cores the CPU have or threads?
