Re: XML Subtitle questions -- Desperate for help!
Ewen - if you are using one of the recent 2.13.x test versions, you should be fine and trust the italics to come out correctly at the test screenings. You could also try player 2.12.20 for testing. Please create your subtitled VF and then paste an excerpt of the resulting timed text xml file here. T...

Re: Certificate .PEM Sony XCT M10
Then you need to apply for access with Sony. There is no public database available.
Or teach those with physical access how to do it.

Re: Certificate .PEM Sony XCT M10
Do you have physical access to that Sony machine? Log in as show manager (projectionist is not sufficient on a standard setup). Goto Configuration->System-> Certificate Info Choose 'Download' - 'KDM (Certificate used to issue KDMS for the Media Block)' - Carsten Bildschirmfoto 2019-04-03 um 22.42.25...

Re: XML Subtitle questions -- Desperate for help!
----- ignore this statement for now, I may be wrong here ----- Oops - other than I assumed, while 2.13.141 does not preview/display italics in DCP-o-matic main and player, when I choose to burn-in these subs, they are actually burned-in as italics properly, while the preview in DCP-o-matic only disp...

Re: XML Subtitle questions -- Desperate for help!
This seems to be a preview and player issue (only). Recently, the way to e.g. display italics has been changed from using a dedicated font to synthesized font effects (e.g. skewing for italics). Maybe that issue has been introduced with it. BECAUSE: When I add an SRT file like this in DCP-o-matic 2....

Re: Copied Hash File does not match remote file hash
Test the DCP on the machine where you created it with DCP-o-matic player 2.13.x. It has a DCP integrity check which will also check hashes. If the original DCP is corrupt, DCP transfer can not fix it. If you don't succeed, download the free trial of Tuxera NTFS for Mac and try an NTFS formatted disc...

Re: Single stem 5.1 wav files
In general, at least in DCP-o-matic (and probably most other mastering solutions as well), a combined/interleaved audio file is easier to handle if: - all channels are strictly in sync - the track assignment is well documented, or compliant with DCI track order: L,R,C,LFE,SL,SR Individual files are ...

Re: DCP compliant delivery drive
If time is short and encoding on a windows machine, using NTFS is the best choice. However, many people seem to think that NTFS is then the only important parameter. Then they experience the drive is not recognized on the server, and believe NTFS was the fault. You also need to follow the single MBR...

I suggest you update to 2.12.20 and try again. You may also send the project file to Carl, or attach it here.

Re: More than 48 fps playback
You need to talk to your integrator. There are some instructions by Doremi how to do it. It's a bit of a hack - aside from the Hobbit trilogy, no commercial content in other than 3D/24fps made it to any cinema, so, few people are using the high frame rate firmware. It't not very elegant.
