Re: Downscaling a 4k DCP - is it a good idea
Why do you need a separate 2k DCP?

Re: DCP SIZE
What type of material is this?
If it lacks detail, colors, etc., it may come out a lot smaller. e.g. dark or black scenes compress very well. You should stay away from 250MBit/s. If your content has detail in 4k, actual 250MBit/s frames may crash some playback servers.

Re: DCP SIZE
Depends on the J2K encoding bitrate you set under the DCP tab. You should probably set it to 200MBit/s for standard 4k/24fps content.

Re: Sound comes only from Screen
Can you show us a screenshot of your audio matrix under 'Content' -> 'Audio'?
You could also open audio analysis and show us a screenshot.

Re: Playing error
Sounds like file corruption. How did you transfer the DCP to the cinema?
Can you transfer it again? How large is it?
First of all, you should load your own original/copy of this DCP into DCP-o-matic player and perform a validation. That will make sure at least your 'master' is correct.

Re: Mid-side decoder removes stereo separation?
This cinema has an issue with their speakers. If your L/R levels are correct in DCP-o-matic's audio level graph, they the DCP is correct they probably have a technical issue. These issues are not rare, but are usually masked when playing mainstream 5.1 or 7.1 content. You could play a test DCP there...

Re: Could not decrypt KDM
Are you sure the KDM you received is actually targeted towards your own Barco ICMP or DCP-o-matic installation? KDMs are not universal keys - they only work on a specific device. You can not just copy it to another device and play the content with it. I also know that some countries have strange spe...

Re: Problem of converting 23.9760p to 24p
I don't think this has to do with the 23.9760 fps conversion. Pretty sure there is an issue in the source file.

Re: 3D SUB FOR 3D DCP
Wondering wether DCP-o-matic would simply pass through z-axis parameters? Maybe one could add them externally.
