Re: 1.66:1 film export
Usually, you would place this letterboxed into a 1.85:1 container/DCP.

Re: 1.66:1 film export
I don't understand - 1.66 mask, 'and mostly scope'? Maybe throw up some images to show what you want to achieve?

Re: On Screen glitch at beginning and end of DCP
This may be related to consecutive playing DCPs having different frame rates or resolution. As far as I know, putting short blacks between them solves it.

Re: PCM track/length problem when creating package with still
I would have to look it up somewhere, but I remember there are a few constraints about start offset/timecode relation in order to play ATMOS properly. Offsetting an ATMOS track itself in DCP-o-matic may indeed not work, since the TC for playback timing is baked into the ATMOS track and can not be al...

Re: Text Aliasing in DCP-O-Matic
Can you show us a frame from the actual DCP - e.g. loading the MXF into VLC and producing a VLC video snapshot? If the master video is high res, including burnt-in text, it is hard to believe that DCP-o-matic creates that kind of scaling/aliasing during encoding.Hi contrast and saturated colors may ...

Re: Naming problem when using 8 audio channels
I guess HI/VI-N should only turn up in the Auto-ISDCF name and metadata fields when these channels are assigned in the audio matrix. Aside from that - the warning is no reason to not use a 6ch configuration. This warning is only targeted towards potential workflow issues with external service compan...

Re: Is it possible to make a VF with OV within itself?
That question is not clear. A VF always refers to a separate OV. Some servers ingest the OV assets automatically when you ingest just the VF. Some servers need to have OV and VF ingested separately. DCP-o-matic player also needs to load the VF first, then assign the OV. But DCP-o-matic player is not...

Re: Subtitles validation error
It's important to get more details about complaints. Was it the server that complains during/after ingest, or do they validate using a separate tool. If it's the server, what type/brand of server is it.

Re: YUV to RGB matrix option has no effect
As far as I understand it, there is a range of image parameters that trigger a re-encoding when changed. Somehow that one must have been lost at some point.
