Re: Subtitle bugs
That's right. It happens when you load SRT file. But if you are loading XML timed text file it does put them in a right position.

Re: Outline size on subtitle
The only way you can do this in current version of DOM is to generate a proper Blu-ray image and run from mixed m2ts file

Re: Outline size on subtitle
I was never able to see MXF files created by DOM in VLC on my Mac. (MacPro 1.1 3GHz x 2 four core processors, 16 Gb RAM, AMD 67xx Video Card, Mac OS 10.10.3). And I don't know why. On the other hand PC version of VLC running in VM Fusion 8/Win7 Ultimate 64 bit on the same machine plays them fine. Si...

Re: Outline size on subtitle
I just made 3 trailers with burnt-in subtitles, and played them back both in FINAL DCP Player and on CHRISTIE/DOREMI combination. One trailer was a very high contrast made from original Technicolor 1963 surviving print Second trailer was too bright for my taste for that specific movie from 1974. Thi...

Re: Subtitle bugs

Well, the commands are used in xml files and are interpreted properly, but only on one-liners. Double lines are no go.

Subtitle bugs
Hi CARl, I found a few interesting behaviours of DOM with subtitles. 1. Usually, but not always, the position commands in srt files are ignored. 2. Double subtitle lines with position commands are not shown in the DCP when subtitles imported as XML files are burned in. To force the subtitles to appe...
