Re: Back Surround Left and Right sound don't work with DCP created with DCP o Matic
Don't forget that between the Dolby CP750 and the speakers, there are amplifiers (cables, etc.) Did you try (with the help of another) to check if you have some input (other source) on the Lbs and Rbs, what happens in the auditorium? (If you connect a radio or something.) Did you check what is the i...

Re: DCP Supplemental Package
[...] I then checked the VF box for both video and audio for the outer two pieces of content. Then created the VF. The VF DCP only contains the trimmed part of the english trailer, while the outer parts are referenced from the OV (german). [...] Thank you Carsten, that was really helpful! I guess t...

Re: DCP Supplemental Package
When you write at first that it can be done, Carsten, what is the way? I mean, if you have the original/staying-the-same 6 parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and the A, B, C, D, E that change with a, b, c, d, e? Can you split by video content the 1, A, 2, B, 3, C, 4, D, 5, E, 6 for the OV and then swap to 1, a,...

I see some 4.000 cd/m2 in luminosity.
Is this HDR?
Did you check the video result?

Re: Sound delay when exporting H264
Just for reference, I sent you, Carl, a video I had issues with, until I used the same method I described to get rid of the unnecessary audio stream.
It was a school screening, and the movie came as an .mkv file.

Re: Sound delay when exporting H264
What I would suggest, is to use MKVToolNix (GUI) to export the video with only the audio you want to use.
Then, make the DCP.
I had issues in the past that I couldn't resolve otherwise with mkv files with more than one audio streams.

Re: ERROR: Could not read file from...
What I would do in such an occasion, would be shorten paths and filenames the most I could and avoid all spaces and special characters (I see a pound/number sign) that could bring feeding intolerance to a windows PC (or other). Local drives are obviously good, but not always an option nor necessaril...

Well, if that is indeed the case, I would welcome a pattern.

Re: 2:1 aspect ratio
Did anyone here receive in the past any 2:1 test pattern along with a 2:1 DCP? There are some mentions that streaming services are not much bothered with the cinema exhibition, but there might be a bright example out there. I remember using the Dunkirk one on a cinema to get 2,2:1. Is there any 2:1 ...

Re: 2:1 aspect ratio
Your task is to make screen, masking, zoom settings to use that, probably contained in a flat DCP/frame. Making a 2:1 DCP (similarly making a 1,77:1 or 1,66:1), won’t help you with professionally made DCPs, except if your goal is to make a test pattern. My five cents would be to get information on w...
