Unwrapping MXF back to J2C sequence

Unwrapping MXF back to J2C image sequence, can this feature be added to DoM? When I add MXF file from the DCP package to DoM and then make DCP with that MXF file, it takes much much longer to make DCP than making a DCP from J2C sequence which I unwrapped from the same MXF file using EasyDCP. Why is that?

I can only assume that something you are doing tells DOM to recompress the MXF again.

This is a weakness in DCP-o-matic at the moment: it doesn't handle existing MXFs as input very intelligently. It is on the list to be fixed soon.
