Hi,
I'm having trouble getting the deinterlacing filter to work in DOM 2.9.0 on Ubuntu.
The DOM manual states that "The preview in DCP-o-matic will update itself whenever filters are changed". I just don't see any difference when enabling the deinterlacing filter:
VLC deinterlaces fine using same filter (yadif):
Any ideas?

I can confirm for the Mac version that the preview does not always represent the filter setting instantly. Sometimes I have to switch to a different window until I see the footage actually being deinterlaced. But when I hit 'Make DCP', it seems that always the correct filter (or not, if disabled 
is applied. I don't know if this is the same in the Linux version or if Carl is able to catch it quickly, but, try, and you will probably be able to do what you're after.

I've seen this happen I think... I will investigate. I've put up a bug to track it.
