FCP export settings

Post by georgewong »

Hello everyone,

I am doing a 10 min clip to show at a cinema for a friend.
The cinema only accept dcp files.
I shot the clip on a 5d2 at 19020x1080 25fps.

What setting should I export the .mov file before I send it to DCP-o-matic?

Is .mov the best file to export from FCP in this instance?

Is there anything to take note of when applying the setting in DCP-o-matic?

Thank you in advance!

cheers,
george

Hi George,

I don't know FCP but .mov should be fine, at a reasonably high quality / low compression rate.
