macOS testers wanted

Post by carl »

Hi all,

The next stable version of DCP-o-matic is available for testing here. Any macOS testing would be much appreciated! I had to change a whole bunch of stuff to keep up with Apple's notarization requirements, so things may have broken.

Thank you,
Carl

Hi there, just dragged the app to my application folder and fired it up. Chosed Advanced GUI and entered the preferences pane with this happened. Working on macOS Catalina 10.15.3 on an iMac.

wxWidgets Debug Alert
../src/osx/cocoa/preferences.mm(89): assert "bmp.IsOk()" failed in AddPage(): OS X requires valid bitmap for preference page

Call stack:
[00] DOMFrame::edit_preferences()
[01] wxEvtHandler::SearchDynamicEventTable(wxEvent&)
[02] wxEvtHandler::ProcessEventLocally(wxEvent&)
[03] wxEvtHandler::ProcessEvent(wxEvent&)
[04] wxWindowBase::TryAfter(wxEvent&)
[05] wxEvtHandler::SafelyProcessEvent(wxEvent&)
[06] wxMenuBase::SendEvent(int, int)
[07] wxMenu::HandleCommandProcess(wxMenuItem*, wxWindow*)
[08] -[NSApplication(NSResponder) sendAction:to:from:]
[09] -[NSMenuItem _corePerformAction]
[10] -[NSCarbonMenuImpl performActionWithHighlightingForItemAtIndex:]
[11] -[NSMenu performActionForItemAtIndex:]
[12] -[NSMenu _internalPerformActionForItemAtIndex:]
[13] -[NSCarbonMenuImpl _carbonCommandProcessEvent:handlerCallRef:]
[14] NSSLMMenuEventHandler
[15] DispatchEventToHandlers(EventTargetRec*, OpaqueEventRef*, HandlerCallRec*)

[19] SendMenuCommandWithContextAndModifiers
[20] SendMenuItemSelectedEvent
Do you want to stop the program?
You can also choose [Cancel] to suppress further warnings.

I can repeat this with the same result.
Hopefully that will help.

Best, Joern
