Adding closed captioning using a .srt file

If you run the latest IRC-28C firmware ( 200601 at http://ftp.uslinc.com/Products/IRC-28/S ... ware/beta/ ), you can view a log of the interaction with the DSS-200 on the IRC-28C web interface.

You should see the IRC-28C connect to the DSS-200. You should see an announce request and a lease request. When the show is loaded, you should see a SetRplLocation request. The last RPL URL received is also shown on the debug screen. If you follow that link, you can see the RPL created by the DSS-200. Each reel should have a ClosedCaption ReelResource. There should be the URL of the captions for that reel.

So, I suggest having a look at the log to see where stuff is going wrong.
