Also posting screenshots of Audio output preferences in DCP-O-Matic and from my Mac. BTW, The latency shows in playback of the test version of DCPomatic-HEAD-674b74173. Thank you.

Thanks - I think the log upload failed, unfortunately - can you try again? I'll try to fix the thing where it refuses to accept a file called "log".

It may be that the USB connected UltraFine Monitor audio output is the reason. I guess the Mac Studio Speakers are useless for monitoring, but you should still give them a try to see if it makes a difference sync-wise. Although I don't understand why this interface offers 0 channels and hence no mapping.

The Mac Studio offers an analog output towards active speakers or headphones through a 3.5mm TRS jack - I suggest you try a set of analog speakers or headphones to see if they make a difference.

Wondering why the audio interface to this LG - monitor is USB anyway? Don't they offer HDMI audio? Does this monitor actually have internal speakers, or do you use speakers connected to the monitors 3.5mm TRS output?

Guess we need to know more technical facts about your setup. Can you tell us the exact model of your monitor?

Re: Carl, I attached the log file as a Zip, as it won't take the log file.

Re: Carsten, I think there might be something to what you say with the preferences. They ARE different. It's just the outputs to the LG monitors in DCP-O-Matic preferences. If I set DCP-O-Matic preferences to any other output device, it plays back normally.

When I play the DCPs generated by DCP-O-Matic in DaVinci Resolve, they play back fine, no matter what speakers I use.

In the past I had no problems viewing files I was making through DCP-O-Matic, including a couple of weeks before, when I viewed dcp files I was making for another client. I assumed it was the film I'd sent you, as the theater had problems as well.

I don't know if there was some Apple upgrade that changed how my monitors behaved with DCP-O-matic, or what, But I can see It's apparently something to do with setting the monitor playback preferences.
