DCP-o-matic

Hello everybody

I'm new to this forum a to dcp format. I need to convert an mkv movie into dcp for cinema projection.
I do not know much about dcp preferences but here's my steps:
Load movie
Start dcp conversion.
When the conversion reaches 3% it stops with "Could not create libopenjpeg image"
I'm using windows 64bit.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Hi,

What version of Windows are you using? Did you install the 64-bit version of DCP-o-matic? How much RAM do you have in your machine?

You could try going into Preferences and reducing the "Number of threads DCP-o-matic should use".

Let us know how you get on.

I'm on windows 64 bit with Amd Ryzen and 16 giga of Ram.
I've tried to lower the threads by half (from 16 to 8) and this time the processing went further than the previous one but the same error has appeared again

OK, nothing looks amiss there. This is a strange bug which we see very occasionally and have never quite got to the bottom of.

If you can reproduce it reliably I can send you some test versions to try and debug it; would that be of interest?

Thanks for your time and offer, but I'm really not good in debugging. Anyway If you have test versions , maybe my friends programmers could do something about it, so yes if you want you can send them to me.
But maybe could it be an AMD incompatibility?

You wouldn't have to do anything except run the test versions and send me the log files...
