Hi Carsten,

I have 3 different version of that 3D Movie. Arabic, Arabic with subs and English.

Arabic and Arabic with subs doesn't have any problem because the FPS of the audio and video is set to 24 fps.

For the English version it's kind of different because it is originally set to 30 fps.

We're done converting the Arabic and Arabic with subs.

the beta version (2.13.124) still didn't fix our problem.

I think the question here has now become: will a Doremi ShowVault and Barco DP4K-32B play 30 frames-per-second 3D? Does anybody know for sure?

Per spec, yes. I think for an IMB system, there is nothing that can be misconfigured to prevent it. I still don't get the reference between TGA and 30fps here?

There isn't one, I don't think; there were Targa bugs that are fixed, but the 3D 30fps misbehaviours remain.

Are we sure it's 2k ?

I could ask some colleagues to play a short 30fps 3D clip.

The IMB needs a special firmware to play HFR 3D, but, as far as I know, 30fps does not yet qualify for that special firmware.

@jaycer.cerbo: is it a 2K DCP?

HFR firmware for Doremi IMB is only needed for 48/60 fps base rate 3D. There might also be an issue with the specific 3D system, often they need special timing parameters.

edit: as we now issue warnings for all frame rates beyond 24fps (or is it 30?), do we also consider 4k there? 4k works on all systems at 24fps, otherwise, 4k should not be possible beyond 30fps. I am not sure wether all systems are able to play 4k in 2k at 25/30 fps.

Hi Carl, Yes, it is a 2K 3D dcp with 30 fps

@jaycer yes we have the same problem. Did u managed to fix it? or any work around?
