DCP-o-matic

Hi Folks,

First time generating a KDM today for a DCP I encrypted and made with DCP o Matic but our server is showing "KDM Issue date is in error". I can't find anything that advises as to what I could be doing wrong that's causing it. Has anybody seen this issue before?

I'm exporting as a DCI KDM for our one screen.

Please find two DCI Any versions of KDM attached. UTC and UTC+1 (Neither of which worked)

I've also attached a Modified Transitional 1 version.

Our server is a GDC SX-2001. Projector is a Barco DP2K-15C (Do I need to add the Projector's cert as a trusted device?)

Modified Transitional 1 is correct, UTM setting should be irrelevant, as long as you are not too close to current time when creating the KDM.


Have you tried to create a KDM e.g. for 'next week' and check wether that is 'accepted'? No GDCs in germany, so I have no experience how they deal with this. KDMs contain not just a time window for playout, but also a date/time of issue. In this case, the time of issue seems to be problematic. We had some problems years ago when the KDM was created very early after the first installation or cert recreation of DCP-o-matic - simply because the cert times and validity times were too close. I assume something similar here. In what time zone are you?

I would assume this could cause the error. Try to advance KDM start time.

Many thanks for your replies. I have tried creating a KDM for yesterday, and one for next week, neither of which are working. They throw the same Issue Date error.
