Build 167 and 170 are very snappy.
speed compared to last stable has definitely improved; I never had 11-12 fps when working with prores files. I estimate (!) 20 % faster.

sound analysis may take up to 9 or 10 min for a 2 hrs feature. last stable did never analyse faster - some complained about that.

my problem is when ticking "Inhalt hervorheben" the red borders do not show actual framing but are shifted to the left!
having added a picture.
nice work!!

Weird. I'll give .170 a try. Maybe that red border issue comes with the opengl video display option. What is your screen resolution?

I assume that video is pillar boxed in a 16:9 frame?

YES, using the opengl-option. Resolution is 2560. desktop scaling is set to 150 %. means DOM's preferences doesn't let me see ok- or discard button ;-)
YES, it's a 4:3 silent in container.

I see the same on my Mac when using opengl video acceleration. That option was only used in the player before, it only recently made it into the main app. It may need some tweaking.

If your system is fast enough to play content without opengl (should be, in windows), then don't use opengl. It is only for display, it doesn't speed up J2K encoding.

This should be fixed in .171.
