5.1 doesn't play on doremi

Hi,

I have used dcp-o-matic 2.1.5 on mac osx to create a surround movie.
Everything seemed to work fine, I could see the six audio waveforms, and the demo version of easy dcp player shows also the six audio channels that are modulating. But I have made a projection test in two different places, with doremi servers, and in this two places the audio was played in 2.0
I provide an attachment of the analysis of dcp-inspect.
I don't see where the problem could be.
Thank you per advance and sorry for my bad english.

Simon

Hi, the attachment does not seem to have worked for some reason... could you email me (carl@dcpomatic.com) the file or try re-attaching it?

Thanks for the email. Everything looks ok from that dcp_inspect output. When you say it played in 2.0 can you be more specific... does the Doremi Cinelister say there are 2 channels or 6? Do you have meters on the audio outputs? Are they reading absolutely nothing? Or are you checking by ear?

I have been checking by ear. Regarding the other points, I have to contact the projectionist before answering.

How did you import and route the audio?

How many channels did you setup for your DCP in DCP-o-matic?

There is an amazingly simple way to check your DCP audio - just load the DCPs audio.MXF file directly from the DCP folder into Audacity. Thanks to FFMPEG, it will load multichannel audio wrapped in MXF right away, you can check audio channel content and channel mapping.

In Audacity, they should show up in the following order (assuming standard Interop linear channel mapping):

Left
Right
Center
LFE/Sub
LeftSurround
RightSurround
