Changing just the audio track

Let's say I have an encode finished on a hard drive. Now, I re-open that project, and using the same video file, I replace the audio tracks with new WAV files. As long as I don't change any video settings, should this be a fast "redo" of the DCP? Also, if I don't change anything with the naming of the project, will this essentially overwrite the old audio of the DCP?

Thanks for any help!

Yes and yes... the fast "redo" is not as fast as it should be, but much faster than the initial encode.
