SMPTE XML / PNG subtitles

Hi all,

What software would you recommend to make SMPTE XML / PNG subtitles from a SRT?

Subtitle Edit fails completely to match the official specs.

DCP-o-matic will accept SRT sources so you could add your SRT to a new DCP-o-matic project, then use "export subtitles".

I know but I need special placement on x,y that I can only set with the PNG sequence.
