performance problems "writer full"

Hi,
today, i wanted to create a dcp from a blu-ray disk. Nothing unusual, i'm well aquainted with this process.
While the job was running i noticed strange behavior. For a few seconds everything is fine, with the fps ~120. then, the DCP-o-matic GUI starts being sluggish, eventually freezing for a few seconds (Other windows and taskbar etc. are fine, no freezes here) and then resuming with 10-20 fps until reaching ~120 fps again. This happens multiple times per minute.
The job's runtime was ~90 minutes, which is quite bad for my setup and a 2k bluray with ~113 mins.
I tried again with the Sintel Benchmark, it shows the same behavior and a runtime of 8:20 mins, also quite bad i think.
So i went to the log file, and it's full with this message:
Sintel: ~5500 log entries
Bluray: ~37500 log entries
In April i did another bluray-conversion, it finished without these log entries in ~40 mins (61 fps)
What's happening here?
currently i have the following setup, everything is on the latest non-test DCP-o-matic-version:
