Error while creating encrypted DCP

Lately when I try to make encrypted DCP I am plagued by this strange error:
Could not open file /Volumes/XTRA/Movie/info/185_2K_8e427ae5ffb4d7d64764c52446781734_24_150000000_E_S_0_635576000.

It is not known what caused this error. Please report this problem by using Help -> Report a problem or via email to carl@dcpomatic.com

Non-encrypted DCP is produced fine from the same material.

any ideas?

Have you tried 2.9.13? It should give a more informative error message.
