Well, it's a hack and there is probably a program which will extract the XML properly. But what I did was

Code: Select all

strings your.mxf > tmp
on a Linux machine, then editing tmp to remove the stuff at the top.

How was this MXF file created in the first place, since it's not SMPTE DCP compliant as Carl says?
