On some screen resolutions, the left part of the main gui eats up a lot of preview real estate. Many filenames (except typical ISDC DCP names) are short, so, wouldn't it be better to have the preview window as large as possible? Long file names in content list could still be shown using tool tips.

Ooops, it's not the content list, it's still my longish german translations that reduce the size of the preview window. Wasn't that Dolby fader calculation button placement already solved in an earlier version? Even in the english localization, it could be closer to the gain/db figure?

I think the intent of this is addressed by 9549ecffd4b63e48a2a3f4c58033691a36eee111 and related stuff.
