What browser is this with? Can you try with any others?

done some more tests ...

Chromium Version 63.0.3239.84 (Entwickler-Build) (64-Bit)
Firefox v57+

Mantis is not the responsible.

I tried it in private mode and it worked! After that i tried it with a varying mix of activated and deactivated extensions. The odd thing that i can't nail it down to one specific extension. Sometimes it's even extension like "... smooth wheel ..."
First i thought it might be connected to the "Decentraleyes" extension as it's uses local installed JS-libs and is quite new in my extension list. But it can't reliably reproduce working/not-working by only removing or adding this one extension.

The same thing happens in firefox 57+ with my usual add-ons. Most of the "critical" extensions that would make sense in causing problems like this are used in both of my both browsers. (ublock , Decentraleyes, https-Everywhere, Privacy Badger, WebRTC Leak Prevent ...)

Anybody out there having the same problems ? And what extensions are you using ?

For now i will use private mode during bug reporting if i need to attach files. Might be good to not close this issue in case some others have the same problem in the future...

Do you have any of VPN/proxy plugin installed in your browser? It could be a reason.
Also some plugins do not work in private mode in Firefox. Not sure about this in Chrome

@Igor:
VPN/Proxy: none Browser based

Had no time to test further which add-ons/extensions cause this.

As said before i first tried it in private with reduced number of plugins/add-ons and then switch on one extension and tried it ... the odd think is that it sometimes happened with some add-ons/extensions and during restesting with the same combi it does not work again!

I would suggest you close this one here on the bugtracker. If i have some time i might open a bug/question in the Mantis-Bug-Tracker this is for sure a Mantis<->Browser problem that is not fixable at dcp-o-matic ;)
