Summary | 0001167: When you try to open an OV in standalone player, and there is no previously loaded VF, the player silently vanishes/crashes
Description | This is in OS X Sierra and DOM 2.11.40 Start Standalone player. Chose File->Add OV, choose any self contained DCP (which should always qualify as an OV, even if there is no VF ;-) ) When I do have a self contained DCP open, 'Add OV', and assign another DCP that is NOT an VF to the already loaded one, I get a programming error and the player exits (see screenshot) BTW - same happens when I choose 'Add KDM' and no DCP is loaded. When I load a KDM that doesn't match the loaded DCP, another crash (I think Carl just fixed such behavior in DOM main GUI). So, for both issues, maybe perform some pre-checks before the player assumes something?
