What software should I use to rip DVDs and Blu-Rays?

I would suggest MakeMKV, which is free (as in beer) and runs on Windows, macOS and Linux.

To convert 3D Blu Ray rips to something that DCP-o-matic can handle, I suggest the following:

• DVDFab
• MVC to AVI converter
• FRIM decoder
