Just had a DCP fail QC at a major distributor with yet another baffling error. I can never tell how seriously to take these errors, since I’m almost certain they’re just arbitrarily making up new rules at this point.
This is an IOP DCP built with a version that’s about a month old.
Error - cpl=46f32f77-0239-42dc-bb35-a941924dc029; Content Version's Label Text child element is missing
Description
Content Version requires both an Id and Label Text child element.
Remediation
Create a new CPL file updating the Content Version to include both Id and Label text elements with valid values.
Is thus something I need to be concerned about? Thanks!

Re: Odd QC rejection - Content Version in CPL
Could you attach or email the cpl...xml file from your DCP? carl@dcpomatic.com
