Why would EasyDCP verification be that important?

One fairly often cited reason is that some distributors run DCPs through Easy DCP, call it "QA" and then refuse DCPs (or offer to remake them for $$$) if they don't pass.

Shouldn't RDD52 compliance be all that's needed currently? People probably need to accept that EasyDCP may have flaws as well, and that there are other validators out there.
