Hi everyone,
Long story short: I have a DCP that opens in the DCP-o-matic Player, but is protected by a KDM, and I was wondering if I could still find out if the DCP is functional... without having the KDM. (The KDM comes from someone else and will only be made for cinema.)
I was wondering: if this DCP opens in the player, has the right duration and it "plays" when I can click on "play" (even if it remains black and silent), is this a sign that the DCP is working? Or is there more hidden things?
(I've click on Tools > Verify DCP but loading doesn't progress, I wonder if the KDM blocks this function.)
Thanks in advance!

Verify DCP is probably the best thing you can do in this case - it should work - what version are you using?

I'm on the last "stable" version 16.83. I'm doing a "verify DCP" again and maybe the loading is just very slow. But I've got time!

Verify in the current version will take quite some time, but should give you a very dependable result.
