I found 2.16.86 being a lot faster than in some older versions. Could this be because of the 16ch audio channel setting?

What type of media are your audio files located on?

Before using 2.16.86, it had 16 sound channels by adding 6 monowave sound files. It was fast, analyzing in just 3-4 minutes.

3-5 minutes for full lenght features is what I remember from 2.16.86 as well, and not on a very modern machine.
