Hi!
Young film maker here. We’re trying to make a 5.1 DCP out of our shortfilm, but for some reason when adding all the 6 different audios (L,R,C, etc…) they all go to 1:1 and 1:2, 1:3 does not even pop up. The audios are all mono tracks and named correctly, what could be reason why its not working?
Thanks for help in advance!

Re: Trying to make a 5.1 DCP
Perhaps you could show us a screenshot of the audio tab when you select one of your audio tracks?

Re: Trying to make a 5.1 DCP
You need to configure the DCPs parameters to 5.1, and then assign the individual audio files to the DCPs 6 channels in the audio matrix by clicking on the squares.
When you load 6 mono tracks, how should DCP-o-matic know otherwise which channel has to go where?
You can assign channels manually in the matrix, or, you can aid DCP-o-matic by naming your mono files so that DCP-o-matic can make a better guess.
<content-name>-L.wav
<content-name>-R.wav
<content-name>-C.wav
<content-name>-LFE.wav
<content-name>-LS.wav
<content-name>-RS.wav
The hyphen needs to be present in order for DCP-o-matic to recognize the channel label.
