What's best practice for creating a DCP when you have a few ProRes or J2K reels and a corresponding number of CCAP XML files?
Is it OK for the reels to have their start TCs from editorial (01:00:00:00, 02:00:00:00, etc.) or do their start TCs need to be written as 00:00:00:00, 00:00:00:00 etc) by Resolve?
And for the CCAP XML files, can my vendor leave their editorial start TCs for the caption timestamps and the overall XML metadata (02:00:00:00, etc.) or must those be "zeroed out" in both the actual caption time stamps and the reel metadata in the XML?
I didn't totally see where in DCP-o-Matic you can assign a given XML caption asset to a particular reel, nor how that might work when making a VF.

Why use reels for your master anyway?
