I exported a MXF file using adobe premiere.
I can see that the file has a video track and 6 audio tracks. Mediainfo output is at http://prntscr.com/i9g1oe
When i add that file to DCPoMatic then i only see tha the audio Tab has one audio track recognized. Why is it not mapping all the tracks? Image at http://prntscr.com/i9g2c0
Please guide.

Re: Audio Tracks not getting mapped in DOM - MFX Exported in Premiere
DCP-o-matic has guessed the mapping and assumed that each of those tracks is a different soundtrack (wrongly in this case).
Just click on the squares to get the mapping you want...

Re: Audio Tracks not getting mapped in DOM - MFX Exported in Premiere
It actually has all 6 tracks recognized, otherwise they wouldn't show up on the left side of the matrix. MXF are complex, and DCP-o-matic just wasn't able to choose a channel mapping that fits your intention, you have to fix that manually in the matrix, as Carl suggests. Keep in mind that Premiere or other applications do not necessarily follow the common cinema channel order L/R/C/LFE/LS/RS, so it is probably wise to check the actual channel mapping anyway.

Re: Audio Tracks not getting mapped in DOM - MFX Exported in Premiere
Dear Carl/Carsten
I have uploaded two test files here
File 1
https://www.dropbox.com/s/uktr9lpt6jbfp ... s.mxf?dl=0
This was exported in premiere using the following options for Audio.... http://prntscr.com/iac4mx
mediainfo shows all 6 tracks. but DOM shows only 2 tracks upon inspecting the audio and only 1 track mapped by default.
http://prntscr.com/iac4xo
http://prntscr.com/iac6sv
http://prntscr.com/iac72z
File 2
https://www.dropbox.com/s/y6sa6j27rqjrt ... s.mxf?dl=0
This was exported in premiere using the following options for Audio.... http://prntscr.com/iac6en
mediainfo shows all 1 track. DOM has 6 tracks mapped by default but still shows only 2 tracks upon inspecting the audio.
http://prntscr.com/iac666
http://prntscr.com/iac5a9
http://prntscr.com/iac5vs
I was expecting the first file to have all mapped by default and show all tracks when i do inspect. Currently none of these two are showing correct info in the inspect tab. Something is not right somewhere and I cannot seem to figure out what it is.
Please guide.

Re: Audio Tracks not getting mapped in DOM - MFX Exported in Premiere
Guddu - all is right on DCP-o-matic's side.
In the first case, you told premiere to put 6 uncorrelated mono files into the MXF. In the second case, you told premiere that the 6 channels should be considered as associated (which in my opinion is the correct way for a multichannel mix).
Now, why don't you see what you expect?
In the first case, DCP-o-matic detects all 6 channels and offers them as inputs in the matrix, but there is no data associated with it to perform a suitable automatic mapping. All tracks are in separate streams and thus carry a channel number '1', and all tracks are labeled 'pcm'. Maybe you can tell premiere to use channel labels like L, R, etc., and maybe DCP-o-matic can then use these labels to automatically map the channels.
What you see in the audio graph with only the center channel being mapped is not two channels from those six, but still only the single mapped center channel (green), but with it's peak and RMS level curves. Deselect peak and/or RMS to see what happens. Only those channels that are mapped in the matrix are shown in the audio graph. If you want to see them, click on them in the audio matrix, but first, read on...
In the second case, yes, you do have all channels mapped, because premiere put them into an interleaved stream of associated channels, and DCP-o-matic then maps them 1:1 based on their track numbers 1-6. If you look closely at the source channel/stream separators in the matrix, you will be able to discern these two ways to pack multiple audio channels.
However, I loaded your MXF into audacity (both of them), and as it appears, the audio is all the same for channels 1-3 and 5-6, with 4 being empty. So what you see in the audio graph in this case is simply all audio levels being drawn precisely on top of each other, thus appearing as a single track
You have created a multichannel audio composition that plays the same sound from all full range channels. For the fun of it, I made a screenshot with all channels set apart by applying staggered gains of -1dB, so you can see all channels now.

Re: Audio Tracks not getting mapped in DOM - MFX Exported in Premiere
Your mapping in Premiere was probably wrong. Take a look at this guide:
http://blogs.adobe.com/VideoRoad/2015/0 ... e-pro.html
You need to have multichannel sequence, and tracks routed and panned to right outputs. Then you can use 6ch output preset.
