DCP Content Kind Modification

I created a DCP using after effects but it was rejected because the Content Kind is defaulted at Feature. I have a tight deadline and want the content kind to be advertisement. Can I open the already created dcp in the DCP O matic app and change the content type and then make the DCP? What can I do before I get in hot water with the deadline. Thanks a lot

Yes, that should work. Make a new project, choose "add DCP" and make sure the container and type settings are right then make DCP. It should be fairly quick.

I just have one more question when I used wraptor dpc in after effects I had these files outputted with the following BM_ADV_S_EN_AE_51_2K_20180610_SAB_OV_dcp_3b91b3a6-4435-4657-933f-8ea60432ed47_video.mxf

But when I followed your steps in the DCP-o-matic I got this instead j2c_ba3b054c-05da-4a24-a80c-34c7855b3251.mxf Does the naming BM_ADV_S_EN_AE_51_2K_20180610_SAB_OV before the .mxf have to be there? Will it get rejected by the cinema? Thanks a lot

No the MXF files can be named in almost any way so it should not be rejected for that.

Just to make sure nobody get's this wrong - the application creating the DCP (e.g. wraptor or DCP-o-matic ) can name these MXF files in any way. Don't mess with these file names yourself - they need to comply with other files in the DCP once it has been created.

No the MXF files can be named in almost any way so it should not be rejected for that.
