Will be creating a 4K DCP very soon. me good to get some advice on colour space and ganut. With 2k rec.709 2.2 seems to be popular for onlines. For 4k what is likely to be used. I hear talk of P2 colour space at a post house I know, hopefuly DCP-O-Matic sports it.

Re: 4k gamut, colour space and general advice
Color space for DCPs is always the same - XYZ. What you need to do in DCP-o-matic is to use/create the proper color transformation from your source footage. If the source footage is prepared by a post house, they will decide with you which format, colorspace and gammut to render the footage in.
Professional software is usually able to create XYZ directly, so you can omit the step in DCP-o-matic. Current versions of DCP-o-matic allow to skip the color conversion if the source footage is already in XYZ.
