Do you mean constant bit rate?

Re: export to prores
No, I mean frame rate.
Media Info detects variable frame rate.
Also when I import the cretated file to a NLE, also the file is detected with variable frame rate.
Thanks

Strange. I converted a test movie just recently into both mp4 and prores/mov, and neither shows that issue. In QT Player and media info, they are both shown as straight 24 fps. Which version of DCP-o-matic are you using?

Re: export to prores
I'm using 2.13.145.
I'll try with a different PC. Maybe it's something on my side.
Attached a screenshot of nedia info.
Thanks

Re: export to prores
How do you create a 1920/1080 export?
That frame rate display may be a misindication, as often, some tools do not read such things from file headers, but compute them from certain aspects of the file. So, this could be misleading especially for short files.
I will do my tests again, though, with the current test version.

I've created by selecting 1.78 container on dcp tab.
I've got same result if using the original dcp container, in my case dci flat
I'll try with a feature and not a test.

Re: export to prores
Alright, it happens here with 2.13.146 on my Mac, too. Both when exporting a 24fps MP4 source file and when exporting a 24 fps DCP. I don't know in how far that is a problem when using the resulting export, as the variation in frame rate is very small (min 23.994 max 24.006). I guess it is only a formal issue. I understand it may cause confusion. Carl may need to look up his latest changes to the export function/ffmpeg.

Re: export to prores
Hi all
version 2.14.17 exports both, prores and mp4 with constant frame rate.
Tested with trailers 24fps and 25fps. Haven't test a full movie yet.
Thanks
